SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
A sprinkler system is an important part of landscape design but is often overlooked or seen as an unnecessary expense. A properly designed and installed system will save you hours of watering time, save water and ensure the beauty of your landscape.
With over 24 years of experience, Peppy’s Developments understands the relationship between water, soil and plants, and is dedicated to water conservation. We believe that water conservation is an important element in being a good steward of our environment. We offer sprinkler systems that are custom-designed to fit your new or existing landscape. We strive to obtain the optimal combination of proper coverage with the least amount of water. Our designs can separate bedding areas from turf areas and sun areas from shade areas. Items such as rain sensors, system isolation valves, drip systems, pop-up heads with swing joints and system remote control can be included in our standard design.
We also offer responsive and professional sprinkler system troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services on all existing systems. Broken heads, broken pipes, bad or dirty valves, wiring or controller problems, inadequate zone settings, and improper watering schedules can cause a dead or dying landscape and huge water bills. Also, it is usually overlooked that as your landscape matures, your sprinkler system needs to be adjusted for adequate water coverage as a result of the new growth. If it isn't there will be areas that no longer receive sufficient saturation due to plants blocking the water.
Why not consider having us install a misting system to enhance your outdoor entertainment area, cool your livestock, humidify your greenhouse or just for visual effect. There is no reason for you, your family, friends, employees, customers or livestock to suffer from being in the heat when, in most cases, a misting system is the answer?
Did You Know? ....
Collecting rainwater is a practical way to be environmentally responsible and save money at the same time. All that is necessary to take advantage of this natural resource is to capture the free water falling on your roof and direct it to a storage tank. Rainwater is relatively clean and extremely rich in nutrients, therefore is the perfect source to irrigate your landscape.
Some uses for stored rainwater:
Hand water your trees, lawn, flowerbeds and garden
Connect your collection system directly to your sprinkler system
Wash your vehicles
Refill your water features
Refill your swimming pool
The amount of rainfall that you can collect is calculated by the following formula:
1 inch of rain x 1 square foot = 0.623 gallons
The Tulsa metro area has an average annual rainfall of 42 inches. So, if you have a 3000 sq. ft. roof, you can conserve an average of 78,498 gallons of rainwater per year.
